Q.- Are there ways you maintain a work-life balance?
A.- The best way to maintain a balance between your work and personal life is to schedule things out. I have got the habit to update my calendar for my personal events and time off and the same way I block my calendar for my work. And since I have adapted that habit I can see this helping me balance my life pretty well.

Q.- How do you deal with stress or burnout?
A.- Well, with the whole lot of things going around us these days stress is common. Covid-19, losing Jobs, out of savings, and who have jobs they have stress with workloads. To deal with the stress I always choose to listen to good music old, retro classics, and jazz. They really soothe me. Walking and workout are other good options to choose from since I realize that I hardly move from my bed since the work from home has started. So by realizing that, I also started to take a few minutes’ breaks in every couple of hours. It really helps me out to calm down.

Q.- How do you stay positive in your life?
A.- I try to see, to find a good in every possible situation. Being grateful towards everything I have, I am surrounded with, I am capable of, has helped me a lot to find a reason that everything that happens around me or in my life must have some good purpose. And, also I try to be around people who are like-minded. And one more thing I recently acknowledged that, paying compliments to others, praising the beauty of people, nature, or anything you see gives you such great feelings of being happy from inside.

If You Ever Feel Your Sky Gray, Read This.

Hello family! I hope you all are doing great and living happy, if somehow today is not a good day, this post might help you to find your way to your smile.

I know somedays sun doesn’t rise bright and warm instead it hides behind clouds and it feels like a little gray. We don’t feel like getting up from bed and getting dressed. We don’t feel like going out or talking to anyone. We keep finding a corner to stay unaccompanied, trapped in our minds. I know that all because I feel the same somedays. And surprisingly sometimes I don’t know the reason at all behind all those lousy feelings. I know it happens with you too.

A bad day only stays as long as you let it be. So what do I do when I feel my sky gray?

The first thing I do is to remind myself that “it is just a bad day, not a bad life” It helps me to diverse my thoughts and make me realize that everything will be fine.

The second thing I do is push myself to get up from bed. Believe me, it feels hard at that time but if you make you do it, you are halfway there.

The next thing I do is that I grab any of my hobbies. If you like listening to music, play some happy song or the song that makes you dance. Just don’t play any melancholy song or song that matches your vibe in that phase. If you like to paint try some painting, play with colors. Hobby keeps you busy and it helps you to change your mental state.

If you don’t feel connecting with your hobby or if you don’t have one then the other best thing is to go out for a walk. And while walking pay attention to every single thing you see on your path. A street light lamp, A Tree, Flowers, Dogs, Traffic, Buildings, Talking People, Playing Kids, etc. Anything. And try to praise them or give any compliment. No, you don’t need to say it loud, just say it in your head. This always works for me. When you praise or give compliments to others, you always find beauty in them and it makes you feel good seeing a beautiful thing around you. It automatically brings a smile to your face.

The next thing I do is try to talk to someone beloved. It always helps when you talk and share about what you are feeling. It unloads the baggage from your shoulder and makes you feel light and relaxed. If you don’t want to talk about your feeling, don’t worry, just simply talk about anything it works in the same way.

AAh… I already feel good now. 😊

So if you ever feel your sky gray just try these things I am sure you will find your blue sky back.

Remind yourself: It is just a bad day, not a bad life.

Push yourself to get up and move your body.

pick your hobby and make yourself busy in it.

Go out for a walk and give compliments to the world.

Talk to your beloved, share your load. It will always soothe you.

Remember there is always a sun behind those dark clouds and it will shine your day as soon as the cloud fades.

Take a break for while

Hey There!!! It’s being a long time since I posted anything new. My job kept me too busy that I couldn’t make my mind to write anything. But the job is the job you can not say no to work unless you are a prince of some kingdom and you have enough money to shower it overhead (Imagining if I would), but I am not so, I have to do work. But, I am happy with my work because this is the best of my interest and I am enjoying doing my job. however, sometimes it makes me exhausted and makes me think “just left everything behind and go out on a long vacation” in simple words “take a break for while”. Sadly, I can’t take it for another month. 😦

I am feeling now that taking a break from your daily routine is really important. Just a few breaths in the open fresh air. Blank mind for a while. No questions, No answers, No worries, No planning, No single thought. I think every one of you feels the same sometimes. We all need a break sometimes and we should take it. This weekend I did the same. I pressed a pause button of my life and spend some me-time with nothing in mind about tomorrow.

Some prefer to go to sleep when they feel exhausted. Some others prefer to go outside for a walk. Or, some just simply go to talk to their loved ones. My personal relaxing keys are: listening to 80s 90s Classic and Jazz Music, Walking in Garden/Park, Dancing in personal space (the best), and Long bike ride with no destination. I really spend this last weekend same. Feeling so relaxed and fresh today.

If you feel something is wrong, something is jumbled. if you feel tired for no reason or exhausted from work just take a short break and do nothing for a moment. Let your soul rest a bit. let your mind calm a little and then do what you love to do, what makes you happy and relax. I am sure you will feel everything new the next day.

What A Good Day!

What a good day today! I am so happy that I am back to my early morning routine going to the park for running and exercising. It feels so good, after a long time of spending time at home due to lockdown now things are changing in good shape. Hoping the days of fear of this virus infection pass soon.

The other good news is that I have achieved 500 total likes on my site today. WooHoo!!! 🤩 Yesterday I was talking to Tammy Wynette (5thgenerationgirl) on her achievement of 500 all-time views. She has posted how she started blogging after encouraging by her grandson, even when she has no good relations with the world of technology. I was sharing with her that how it feels so amazing and encouraging seeing those achievements number in a notification and today morning I got the same thing.

However, these numbers don’t define that how good or bad my posts and writing are, but yet they encourage me to keep walking on this path. So, I would like to say a big Thank You from my deep heart that you all have shown interest in my posts and always encourage me to write more and more. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I promise I will keep doing my part as best I can do. My motive is only to share what I have or what I know. since I started reading books I understand that we don’t have to go through every phase of life to experience or learn from it, by sharing our experiences and knowledge we can always help each other to learn more.

Stop Worry, Enjoy Your Breakfast!

Some people say that everything that happens around us is a perfect plan of God and he does everything for our good. Then why should we worry about our life let God worry, we should just enjoy it. Right?

On the other way, some people say that everything that happens around us is a reflection of our own actions in the past. It is a result of our own thoughts, our vibes, and our decisions. Then why should we worry again, we should just enjoy life and stay positive and happy all the time. So the next sun will rise with the reflection of the same vibes. Right?

Everyone has their own way to see the world and to understand the world, and we keep changing that viewpoint along with the different life experiences. My today’s belief could be tomorrow’s doubts and similarly, today’s doubts could be turned into belief tomorrow. Life is unpredictable always. If you think you know the world or you understand life, you are wrong. You only know what you have experienced until now, what you have seen and heard. But, more than you already know is still unknown to you. We can not predict or control the things happening around us, we can just assume or wish. We have no control over life and we all know this somewhere inside but still, deny to accept it. We keep trying to control the things or keep wishing if we could/would able to control this. There is nothing wrong with controlling things or at least trying to, but what wrong is, we try to control our past and future. “The past”, that has already gone and we know surely we can not change any single second of it now and other is future which is never predictable. In these all worries, we are missing every tiny moment to enjoy, to love, to admire, to embellish ourselves in the present. Every day we are missing our “today” in thinking for tomorrow or yesterday and that loop never ends. Every new day comes with new thoughts, new challenges, and new possibilities of the future, and instead of enjoying those moments even it’s challenging, we again start our process to think and worry about it, because things are not the same today as we predicted in yesterday. All those tries and wishes to control or change things, sometimes take us into the feeling of despair and we start questing ourselves because we feel failed. We doubt ourselves. “Why me?” “Why this happening with me?” “I can never do this.” “Nobody loves me.” “I always have bad luck.” Such thoughts start spreading their roots deep inside us, and we start losing our confidence. We lose our will to enjoy life or even to live sometimes.

Life is short, enjoy your breakfast without worrying about dinner, otherwise, breakfast will become cold and tasteless.

5 Self-Notes to keep yourself motivated

1 – Take small steps at first.

Don’t jump, always breakdown your big goal into small steps and focus the progress on each step. Remember, every small step counts.

2 – Surround yourself with positive people/vibes.

Don’t stay stick in a negative state of mind, keep yourself surrounded with positive people and positive thoughts. Remember, you can do it.

3 – Always remember, why you started at first.

Never forget the reason, why you started your journey. Always see yourself at the other end with success in your hand.

4 – Never hesitate to ask help.

Don’t hesitate or feel shame to ask for a helping hand. Remember, nobody is perfect.

5 – Always remember, at the end either you will succeed or learned.

Always finish what you have taken in your hand. There is no loss ever in anything, either you become successful or become wise by learning from your mistakes. Remember, success is always made up of failures.
